Who is USA Dance Roanoke?

We are part of a national nonprofit, charitable organization of volunteers who love ballroom dancing. We organize and support programs for the recreational enjoyment and improvement of ballroom dancing by people of all ages. We strive to create affordable opportunities for the general public to participate in ballroom dancing in the greater Roanoke Valley. We enjoy the excitement and romance, as well as the social and health benefits that ballroom dancing brings into our lives. We sponsor a variety of dances throughout the year incorporating a broad scope of music including, latin, big band, swing, and contemporary. We also offer ballroom dance instruction in numerous styles such as Waltz, Tango, Swing, Cha,.Cha, Rumba, and Hustle. All events and instruction are open to the public and everyone is invited to participate.

Mardi Gras Dance !

We enjoyed our first big dance of 2009 as we celebrated Mardi Gras on Saturday night February 21st at the beautiful Vinton War Memorial. It was a fun night of bead throwing, masks, wonderful music and of course ballroom dancing. We held a coronation for the King and Queen of the Mardi Gras who received robes, crowns and gifts.
